At the start of the New Year it is a time for new changes and new options. The largest change is the launch of the new Refractron website and of course our new blog.
The new Refractron site is organized around our users for the optimum experience. Our site has been organized into four primary categories including Structural Ceramic Applications, Ceramic Materials and Porous Ceramic Applications and the technical specifications for all of our products.
Our Structural Ceramic Applications products resist wear, abrasion and corrosion from chemicals, oil and gas. The valve components available include valve trim, liners and pumps, sleeves and pistons.
The available ceramic materials include Zirconia both Magnesia partially stabilized zirconia and Yttria tetragonal zirconia; Aluminum Oxide in standard material, monolithic single grade and porous tube & plates; and Silicon carbide for special order materials, aggressive applications that are thermal and shock resistant.
Porous Ceramic Applications available now include Filtration, Aeration including sparging and Diffusion; and Wicking, dispersion and vacuum chucks applications.
These new divisions to our site make it easier than ever to explore each of the lines in extensive detail including technical specifications, components and ideal uses.
The Refractron blog in 2012 will be home to the latest industry news, articles about our ceramics, technical information and everything Refractron related.
