Are you headed to Italy this fall? If so, and you’re here because you’re involved in the industrial ceramics industry, it’s probably likely that you’ll be at the 23rd Semi-Annual International Exhibition of Technology and Supplies for the Ceramic and Brick Industries (or Tecnargilla, as the full name is a mouthful). Taking place from the 24th to the 28th of September in Rimini, Italy, Tecnargilla features over 100 exhibitors and many events that take place throughout the conference. If your coming from America or any place other than Italy, don’t worry, you will be amongst friends! An excerpt from the Tecnargilla press release below shows the growth in attendance of International participants:
“There was a significant increase in international attendance, up 18.6% from the previous fair in 2008. Visitors from abroad numbered 14,603, accounting for over 46% of the total and showing Tecnargilla´s world leadership position among fairs in the sector. These top buyers and investors, representing the world´s most prominent manufacturers of ceramics and bricks, decided to ride the wave of recovery by equipping themselves with the finest technology available, and showed keen interest in the four exhibit sections of the fair: Tecnargilla, dedicated to the production of tiles, bathroom fixtures, and dishware; Claytech, specialized in technology for brick production; Kromatech, the section dedicated to aesthetics, colors, and raw materials in the ceramics field; and Kermat, focused on advanced ceramics.”
If you have the means, the trip to Italy for the Tecnargilla conference is well worth it (and really, what trip to Italy isn’t?). Rub elbows with other big names in the international arena of industrial ceramics, learn about the latest scientific developments in material science and possibly find some similarly-focused businesses to partner up with in the future.
